Piergabriele Vangelli de’Cresci (Rome, 1958) has been an antiquarian, art dealer and fine art connoisseur for over thirty years.
His grandfather (Carlo) and father (Raoul) were famous and established Italian antiquarians and were renowned for their taste, expertise and valuable works of art. He has organised several important exhibitions and art shows in his famous gallery in Via Margutta in Rome, which he took over from his father in 1985 and for whom he had been working for ten years. The major fairs in Europe have had him as exhibitor: Milan, London, Rome and many others.
He is member of the British Antique Dealers’ Association.
In London he has exhibited at the LAPADA Art & Antiques Fair in Barkley Square, the Olympia Fine Art and Antiques Fair and the Winter Fine Art and Antiques Fair, Olympia where he has won The “Best Stand 2012″ award from the LAPADA – The Association of Art and Antique Dealers, of which he is also a member. He has also exhibited in the first Mayfair Antiques & Fine Art Fair at the Marriott Hotel in Grosvenor Square.
He specialises in 19th & 20th century European and British paintings, watercolours & drawings; Chinese works of art; Antiquities Decorative items and many works of Art from the Classics to the 20th century.
